Scholar in Residence and luncheon this Shabbos,  November 15, Chaye Sarah,  Professor Matt Goldish

Dr. Wollschlaeger is unable to attend this Shabbos.  The Scholar in Residence will be Dr. Matt Goldish, professor at The Ohio State Universtiy.

 Professor Matt Goldish holds the Samuel M. and Esther Melton Chair in Jewish History at The Ohio State University. A leading scholar of Jewish and European history, he has written extensively on Jewish messianism, Jewish–Christian intellectual exchange, Sephardic life after the Spanish Expulsion, Renaissance Italian Jewry, and spirit possession. His books include Judaism in the Theology of Sir Isaac Newton, The Sabbatean Prophets, Jewish Questions, and Science and Specters at Salem.
