Congregation Ahavas Sholom

It has been brought to our attention that many of our congregants have expressed
an interest in volunteering their time to help at the shul. In an effort to formalize and communicate
the need for volunteers, we will be implementing a combination system of e-mails,
the weekly bulletin and the shul web site, to make everyone aware of the need for workers
for upcoming events. We hope this will alleviate the problems we have experienced in the past.

If you have an interest in helping please contact the Shul office so we can give a list of workers
to those in charge of running the particular events. We do appreciate your making this situation
known to us and we will do our best to keep everyone informed.

As with all our events we are looking for someone willing to handle writing articles
which could be published in the local papers. If you have a flair for writing
please contact the office for how to become included as a Shul correspondent.
It is important that we keep up our public presence and image.
