Our History

The shul started in 1913 at 458 Washington Ave.
In December, 1934, the shul purchased a property at 878 S. Ohio Avenue, but did not
complete the move for about a year and a half. This clip is from the May 22, 1936

The building was expanded about a year later. This clip is from the August 20, 1937

The new Ohio Ave shul was rededicated in 1938. This article is from the April 29,
