The gala is for the installation of Rabbi and Shira Claman as spiritual leaders of Congregation Ahavas Sholom.  We are honored to have Shira's father, Rabbi Mordechai Willig, Rosh Yeshiva, Yeshiva University, give the keynote address.  Rabbi Willig will talk about his visit to Israel in 1967, and his visit to the Kotel soon after Israel recaptured it. 

 The dinner format is different this year.  Mincha is at 5:45 followed by a siyum. The dinner committee has planned a fun Israel themed buffet,  centered on Jerusalem, starting at 6 pm.  There will be no hors d'oeuvre hour.    The program will be in the sanctuary after dinner, about 7:15 pm.  Dessert will follow in the social hall.
